Those are willing to learn web designing or UI UX design. they hardly know the differences between a static website and dynamic website
as I have decided to share some deeply informative blog for the difference between static vs dynamic website.

Difference between Static Website and Dynamic Website

This article will make what’s the difference between static websites and dynamic websites.

What is a Static Website?

I’ll answer in this blog because I get it a lot and it’s important to understand. what are the differences are and what they are actually not because it’s easy to get that wrong so let’s have a look in that I prepared a super simple project a static in this image? It contains a layer of HTML files,

In the above photo, the Static website also you could visit and see how it is fast and creative. Each one performing a physical file or page of a website. So on static sites, each page is a creating in an HTML file.

When you are visiting the main page, you are rendering the actual homepage or index file. let’s have a look at the static page first this is a static web page means it consists of HTML CSS and JavaScript not necessarily all these things you can just have HTML.

When to choose a static website and why?

Generally, in the global era, the trend of the online presence of any business is increasing its sales revenue day by day.
Sales are based on online social platforms, marketing strategies, use of modern mobile applications like android mobile app development or iOS app development for business growth, future forecasting, etc.

By the end of 2017, there were around 42% small businesses around the world using android mobile applications and iOS mobile app for increasing the revenue for the business.

If you wish to grow your business online, you must go for a static website which will you define your business features like properties, services, assets, location, and other aspects.

Static websites do not have a complex structure like a dynamic website and can be easily and quickly transfer from server to client without much processing time.

Disadvantages of Static Websites

Difficult To update:

The first disadvantage of a static website is that you could not be changed easily any page’s content. Any images cannot update through static websites. It requires the expert web designer or developer to update on the website.

Not Good For The Long Term Business Goal:

A static website is not useful for the long term business goal as any business website could need to make updates to be in synchronization with the latest trends.

Limited Functionality:

It does not offer all the functionality that a dynamic website could perform. One can add web page text, gallery images, gallery videos, and hyperlinks in the content but other than that, there is no way that a static website can do.

What is a Dynamic Website?

Dynamic website Comparing to static websites, which is based on the informational, a dynamic website is more Practical than a static website.

It allows users to connect with the information that is listed on the web page. literally, that requires appropriate more than just HTML code.

In the second photo, the amazing dynamic website also you could visit and see how it is slower than the static website but still creative.

Static websites work on client-side panels using HTML files and CSS code whereas dynamic websites run on both server-side and client-side by using the number of languages such as PHP, JavaScript, or ASP .Net.

To create dynamic or runtime content, usually, it’s done by the combination of server-side and client-side scripting languages. Client-side scripting assign to code that is executed by the browser, usually with JavaScript.Meanwhile, server-side scripting refers to code that is executed by the server.

Why Do You Prefer Dynamic Website

On a dynamic website, anything is possible and you want to create and achieve your business goal through online marketing. what can be done by static method plus you get gigantic opportunity to build web systems that can change as your business requirement.


Through the dynamic website, you can easily achieve of business sales there would depend on your business goal, if you are selling any e-commerce product that you damn need an online E-commerce website portal i.e. based on dynamic functionality will help you to increase your sales, an E-commerce website can create through CMS like WordPress, Shopify, Magento.

Dynamic websites literally cost-effective, higher bucks of development and even the server hosting is costly as well.

Are there any disadvantages to a dynamic site?

Slow Loading Processing: No Doubt, Number of pages website must be having many functions than the static website to perform with the complex task of functionality that would perform, becomes slower to process and take a few seconds extra load.

Need Dedicated Server:

As you have understood of it’s functionality it will be having a lot of pages that increase response requests, that come from the server.

Sometimes the slow server can not respond on time that throws 503 error that becomes a bad impact for users, SEO and search engine bots. 

Maintenance Everyday: Yes it is right!! Most of the cases Dynamic website updates on a daily bases like example an e-Commerce product’s offers expired every day that business owner has to handle those kinds of updates.

After all you must understand the confusion,

A conclusion that can be formed is that a dynamic website, although costing high, is a better approach for website development. It is a one-time investment and can be beneficial for scaling any business online.

Few others are absorb with the rich-functionality and performance of dynamic websites. Both have their own limitations and advantages.
